Artist Theo Dapore Ohio, United States has
structured a guarantee commission process
that has worked well over the past 5 years.
The system assures a client who may be on
the boarder of ordering a custom commission
and hesitates. What if I don't like the out come.
The potential customer opts out of the order.
Understanding this by the countless hours
of e-mailing back and forth with commission inquires.
There was a lot of lost time.
It didn't take long to see that the something needed
to done. The guaranteed commission was the idea
that broke a lot of barriers. Increased our commission
ratio and cut way down on the four and five e-mail
commissions.
Though this may not be for another artist.
My art form is very progressive and spontaneous.

I discuss with the client to understand fully
there request.
Once I am sure we are both on the same page
the client purchases the commission order.
A time frame is set for completion.
When the work in finished the client
is sent photo(s) prior to shipping.
At this point the client may accept,reject,
or ask for a minor adjustment.
If rejected the client is refunded in full.
If a adjustment is made another photo(s)
are sent for inspection and permission to ship.
In the past five years two painting where rejected.
One of the clients opted to purchase a painting
that was in stock.
Both rejected paintings where advertised
and have on since been sold.
